In this creative homeschool class, students will explore the art of yarn design while learning how cultures throughout history have used yarn and fiber to create both practical and decorative works. From early weaving and textile traditions to modern yarn art, students will discover how simple threads have told stories across generations.
Students will experiment with foundational techniques and design their own yarn art piece to take home. Along the way, they’ll build fine motor skills, creativity, and an appreciation for the history of fiber arts.
All materials are included, and no prior experience is needed.
