Calling all young scientists, engineers, inventors, and problem-solvers! STEAM Lab combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math with hands-on challenges designed to get kids building, experimenting, creating, and thinking.
Each week features a brand-new challenge:
September 8 – Catapults
Explore force, motion, and engineering as students design and build their own working catapults, then put their creations to the test!
September 15 – Earthquake Tower
Can you build a structure that can withstand an earthquake? Students will experiment with structural engineering as they design, build, test, and improve a tower made to survive the shake!
September 22 – Hurricane Heroes
Become an engineer for the day! Students will explore the forces behind hurricanes and take on a hands-on design challenge focused on creating structures that can stand up to powerful winds.
September 29 – Ski Lift Building
Take engineering to new heights! Students will design and build their own working ski lift system while exploring simple machines, movement, and creative problem-solving.
Classes are $20 each and run from 3:00–5:00 PM. Sign up for one or join us for all four!
