This is a 2-Part Series. Please plan to attend both days.
March 4th & March 18th 11:00AM-12:30PM
This two-part homeschool handbuilding series gives students the opportunity to explore clay in a thoughtful, hands-on way while learning foundational pottery skills.
Session 1: Students will learn basic handbuilding techniques such as pinching, slab building, and joining clay to create their own functional or decorative ceramic piece. Emphasis is placed on planning, form, texture, and craftsmanship.
Session 2: Once pieces have dried and been bisque fired, students will return to glaze their work, learning about color, surface design, and finishing techniques. Finished pieces will be glaze fired and ready for pickup later.
This class supports creativity, fine motor skills, problem solving, and artistic expression in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No prior clay experience is required.
Perfect for homeschool students who enjoy working with their hands and creating something meaningful from start to finish.
Homeschool Textile Arts is a hands on creative class designed for homeschool students to explore the world of fibers and fabric. Students will learn foundational textile art techniques through guided projects that encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic confidence in a relaxed studio environment.
