During the class, students will learn how to safely use a sewing machine, practice basic stitching techniques, and build confidence while creating their own handmade items.

Students will leave the class with both finished projects and a strong introduction to sewing skills they can continue building at home.

Materials Needed
For the Pillow Case:
• 1 yard main fabric
• ⅓ yard cuff fabric
For the Tote Bag:
• ½ yard outer fabric
• ½ yard lining fabric
• 1½ yards belting that coordinates with the bag fabric (for straps)
Students should bring their materials to class ready to sew. All instruction and guidance will be provided during the session.
