Sewing Lessons - Mini Series - 2/21 & 2/28 (11AM-1PM)

Join us for a two-part mini sewing class where you’ll create two practical, handmade projects while learning sewing techniques in a guided class setting.

Project 1 | Lined Lunch Bag (February 21)

In the first class, students will sew a fully lined lunch bag and learn techniques for working with multiple fabrics and clean construction.

Supplies to bring for the Lunch Bag:

• ½ yard of 3 different prints (quilting-weight cotton)

Project 2 | Koozie of Your Choice (February 28)

For the second class, students will choose one project from the options below:

Choose ONE:

• Casserole Carrier

  • ½ yard cotton fabric for the exterior

  • ½ yard cotton fabric for the lining

  • ⅓ yard cotton fabric for the straps

• Soup Koozie

  • 2 coordinating cotton fat quarters

• Ice Cream Pint Koozie

  • 2 coordinating cotton fat quarters

Thread Note

White thread will be provided. If you would like to bring your own thread color to match your fabrics, you are more than welcome to do so.

This mini sewing class is open to all and includes instruction, guidance, and time to complete each project. Come ready to sew, create, and take home two finished pieces.
